Regional Digital Marketing Manager for SEMEA (m/f/d)
Regional Digital Marketing Manager for SEMEA (m/f/d)
Alcobendas, M, ES, 28108
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Regional Digital Marketing Manager to strengthen digital marketing performance and generate qualified leads and commercial opportunities across Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (SEMEA).
This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role combining regional direction with direct execution. You will identify growth opportunities, build and optimise campaigns, improve digital funnels and help country teams adopt proven approaches. The role is particularly suited to someone with hands-on agency experience who enjoys working across different markets, services and business priorities.
The role sits within marketing, working closely with Sales, Digitalization and Global teams. The focus is on solving practical country needs, strengthening local capabilities and scaling what works, rather than coordination alone.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Analyse country performance and digital maturity using website, advertising, analytics and CRM data. Proactively identify opportunities and turn findings into clear priorities, investment recommendations and measurable actions.
- Provide direct hands-on support in building, launching and optimising Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and other relevant campaigns, selecting channels according to the service, market and customer journey.
- Improve SEO, website content, landing pages, forms and conversion rates. Work directly in the CMS where needed to reduce friction and turn more traffic into qualified enquiries and customers.
- Support email marketing, gated content and nurturing flows, working with country teams to improve segmentation, follow-up and progression through the digital funnel.
- Develop and apply a practical regional marketing framework covering brand building, demand generation and demand capture, adapted to local maturity and B2B/B2C customer journeys.
- Launch measurable country pilots, manage test budgets and build business cases. Scale, adapt or stop initiatives based on performance, lead quality, service capacity and return on investment.
- Improve conversion tracking and reporting to connect marketing investment with leads, opportunities and commercial outcomes, using web analytics, CRM data and spreadsheets.
- Use AI tools in daily marketing work for research, analysis, content, campaign development and workflow improvement. Build reusable prompts and workflows, review outputs critically and use company-approved tools in line with data-handling requirements.
- Build country capabilities through hands-on working sessions, one-to-one coaching and shared campaign structures, testing approaches and AI workflows. Help teams apply improvements independently.
- Work with Sales on service priorities, capacity, buying journeys, lead quality and conversion feedback. Sales retains ownership of accounts, opportunities, negotiation and closing. Collaborate with Global and Digitalization teams, and brief and challenge specialist agencies while retaining performance transparency and core knowledge in-house.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7-10 years of relevant digital marketing, performance marketing, e-commerce or comparable experience, including substantial recent hands-on execution rather than only managing teams, suppliers or agencies.
- Strong practical expertise in Google Ads and web analytics, supported by hands-on experience across the wider digital funnel, including paid social, SEO, conversion optimisation and email marketing.
- Confidence working directly with CMS, CRM and email marketing platforms, analytics tools and spreadsheets to implement improvements and understand performance.
- Practical experience using AI tools and prompt-based workflows in day-to-day marketing, extending beyond basic text generation. Ability to demonstrate useful applications, evaluate outputs and recognise data-confidentiality risks.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with evidence of turning performance data into better lead quality, investment decisions and measurable business outcomes.
- A proactive, self-driven approach, with the ability to identify opportunities independently, prioritise across markets and explain recommendations clearly to local and regional stakeholders.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Desired requirements
- Hands-on experience from a digital or performance marketing agency is strongly preferred, particularly across multiple clients, services and commercial targets. Direct campaign ownership and optimisation matter more than agency coordination alone.
- Experience in an international or multi-country environment with varying digital maturity and strong local autonomy.
- Experience with FirstSpirit, Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable platforms.
- Experience coaching local marketers, building specialist communities and transferring successful approaches between teams.
- A track record of testing initiatives with limited budgets and scaling those that demonstrate commercial potential.
Additional information
- Reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing for the Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa region, who reports directly to the regional EVP.
- A senior individual contributor role, building credibility through direct execution, practical support and measurable results while strengthening local ownership.
- Occasional business travel within the region.
