Purpose of the Role
The Power Platform Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and successfully delivering Smart Process Automation (SPA) initiatives across DEKRA. The role drives the implementation of Power Platform governance, adoption, enablement, and automation programs while ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
The position serves as the central coordination point for strategic Power Platform initiatives, overseeing project planning, delivery, stakeholder management, change management, and governance activities. In addition, the role is accountable for project administration and financial management activities, including budget planning and monitoring, vendor coordination, contract and Statement of Work administration, invoice verification and payment coordination, resource tracking, and management reporting.
Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver Power Platform and Smart Process Automation initiatives across the organization.
- Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and overall delivery progress.
- Coordinate activities between business stakeholders, technical teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor project performance and prepare management reports, project updates, and executive presentations.
- Support budget planning, financial tracking, and project forecasting activities.
- Manage vendor relationships, Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, purchase orders, invoice verification, and payment coordination.
- Own project administration activities, including project documentation, reporting, action tracking, meeting coordination, and maintenance of project plans and records.
- Track project resources, deliverables, and project documentation to ensure successful execution and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous optimization of project delivery practices.

- Owning skills at least 3 years’ work experience in project management, digital transformation, business applications, automation initiatives, or related technology programs.
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable professional qualification
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, Smart Process Automation, and low-code/no-code technologies.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects involving business, IT, and external partners.
- Strong project planning, coordination, project administration, risk management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, vendor contracts, Statements of Work, invoices, and financial administration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives in a global and multicultural environment.
- Experience supporting organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proactive, structured, and results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent English required; German is a plus
