An exciting opportunity has arisen at DPS – DEKRA Digital and Product Solutions where we are looking for a person to support the implementation of its Artificial Intelligence strategy as applied to internal operations and technical services. The successful candidate will join the team to help identify, define, implement and improve AI-based solutions that support operational, technical and management tasks.

The main objective will be to contribute to the automation, standardisation and improvement of recurring processes, while maintaining standards of quality, traceability, security and compliance with DEKRA’s internal policies. Therefore, the role will focus on transforming real operational needs into practical AI-based solutions, including assistants, agents, automated workflows, document analysis tools and decision-support systems.

What will be your responsibilities? 

• Help identify AI use cases that have an impact on internal operations.
• Analyse existing processes and propose ways to automate, optimise or support them using AI-based solutions.
• Help define the functional requirements for AI assistants, agents and tools designed for specific tasks.
• Support the implementation and roll-out of internal AI-based solutions.
• Coordinate with technical teams, domain experts and operations managers to understand needs and translate them into practical requirements.
• Help structure the information, documentation, requirements, evidence and data necessary for the operation of AI solutions.
• Contribute to the creation of workflows for document review, information extraction, evidence analysis, report preparation and support for evaluations.
• Participate in the validation of results generated by AI tools, identifying errors, limitations or potential improvements.
• Define quality, traceability and control criteria for the use of AI in operational processes.
• Document the functionalities, usage procedures, limitations and best practices of the implemented solutions.
• Provide support to internal users during the adoption and continuous improvement of the tools.
• Contribute to ensuring that AI solutions are used securely, in a controlled manner and in line with DEKRA’s internal policies.

What do we expect from you?

• Proven familiarity with Generative AI tools, Large Language Models (LLMs), or integrating digital solutions into operational workflows.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes or technical documentation and translate them into functional requirements for digital tools.
• Experience in document analysis, data structuring, or managing checklists and technical evidence.
• A strong mindset focused on traceability, validation, and identifying risks or limitations in digital/AI outputs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with both highly technical professionals and non-technical business users.
• A proactive, autonomous approach focused on delivering useful, maintainable, and real-impact solutions.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience designing prompts, AI instructions, or custom templates.
• Knowledge of building agents or automated workflows using low-code/no-code platforms or scripting.
• Background or basic understanding of cyber security, data privacy, compliance, or audit/certification environments.
• Experience in change management and driving the adoption of new digital tools within a corporate environment.
