An exciting opportunity has arisen in the development team of the Digital & Product Solutions division. The work of this team enables DEKRA to continue progressing and growing to build a leading position in the Product Testing & Certification industry, especially bringing new service opportunities and optimized solutions that serve our customers and differentiates us from our competitors.

Your Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at DEKRA, you will join our dynamic Development team, working closely with top-tier professionals in an innovative environment. You will collaborate on international projects with our global customers, contributing to the design and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions within DEKRA's product testing domain. Additionally, you will engage with our security assessment laboratory, maintaining infrastructure and local area networks, while also automating internal processes to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions tailored to DEKRA’s product testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with a global team of developers to ensure software quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and participate in project management to help the team achieve its goals.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience working in development teams.
• Expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and familiarity with hexagonal architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and SOLID principles.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data analysis tools such as Qlik or similar.
• Proficient in databases like Oracle and SQL Server.
• Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team management.
