A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:
As a Compensation Benefits and Payroll Specialist in our HR team, you will administer compensation, benefits and payroll processes with accuracy, compliance and service orientation. You will coordinate compensation programs, support benefits enrollment and administration, handle payroll operations and employee inquiries, and help ensure HR processes comply with local regulations and company policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate compensation procedures and programs, and serve as a focal point for escalated compensation-related questions.
- Use compensation and HR systems accurately to support data maintenance, reporting and process execution.
- Act as a point of contact for benefits-related questions, coordinating with relevant specialists to resolve employee cases.
- Execute benefits enrollment activities, including employee notifications, campaigns and administration changes.
- Maintain benefit files and documentation in compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Administer payroll operations, including preparation, calculation and post-payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle non-routine payroll administration inquiries through call and case management channels.
- Provide limited HRIS Employee Self-Service / Manager Self-Service support as needed.
- Administer employee compensation and benefits, including salary payments, social insurance, housing fund and related items.
- Assist with special HR assignments and projects as required.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the line manager.
What You’ll Bring:
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in HR, with exposure to compensation, benefits and payroll administration.
- Solid understanding of China local government regulations related to HR, compensation, benefits and payroll.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other common office tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle confidential employee information responsibly.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
- High integrity, team spirit, customer orientation, entrepreneurship and a strong sense of responsibility for safety.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience in payroll calculation, social insurance, housing fund or employee benefits administration.
- Experience using HRIS, payroll, benefits or case management systems.
- Experience preparing HR, payroll or benefits reports.
- Experience working in a multinational company or matrix organization.
