Role's Objective
|
- Ensure laboratory facilities such as electricity, water supply, lighting, air conditioning system, workshops, chemical treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, security... always operate stably and safely.
- Maintain the lab working environment safety and housekeeping.
- Implemented and maintained the quality system in accordance with the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.

Specific Responsibilities
|
|
Perform the following tasks with more focus on electric system, camera system, but not limited to:
- Conduct daily maintenance and routine follow-up of building including office & Labs .
- Monitor activities of subcontractor onsite lab to ensure safety and security.
- Prepare equipment maintenance forms.
- Develop, implement, and execute preventative maintenance plans internal or externally on electric system, fire alarm system, air conditioning system, light system, chemical treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, motor for supplying fresh air/ fume hood, electric stove / heater, camera system, maintenance for ceiling, wall & roof of Labs & office.
- Communicate effectively the maintenance program with all stakeholders and provide exceptional maintenance service.
- Diagnostic, troubleshoot, repair, and arrange service visits from vendor if needed.
- Manage and track instrument usage and maintenance history with appropriate tools (log sheets, reports, electronic files).
- Identify and maintain appropriate supplies of spare parts/consumables for all the instruments including the purchase request enquiry.
- Monitor the compressed gas cylinders and liquid argon and work together with lab supervisors to maintain safety work during handling between supplier and lab.
- Produce monthly instrumentation maintenance reports to Laboratory Managers.
- Enable the efficient new instrument installations by partnering with vendors and manufactures.
- Partner with Lab manager / Lab supervisor to train chemists and lab technician on the instrument operation and routine maintenance including to certify competency of staff
- Perform all other duties, as assigned by Managers or Lab supervisor and HSE officer to support the branch activities.

Career Experience & Education Background Required
|
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic or Instrumentation Engineering
- Preferred with working experiences in maintain analytical instruments that involves diagnosing system failures, troubleshooting, repairing or testing and proposing effective solutions.
- Must be an effective and flexible communicator to a diverse community
- Experience managing maintenance budgets is an asset
