Goal

  • Lead and oversee the accounting, reporting, controlling and tax functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and improving the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
  • Provide strategic support for decision-making and contribute to the company's financial goals.

 

Responsibilities   

  • Oversee all accounting and tax operations, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • lead financial controlling, including analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and other initiatives under instruction from country head, region & group.
  • Develop and implement tax planning and strategies to optimize the company’s tax liabilities and ensure tax compliance.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory reports.

      

Tasks    

  • Monitor and ensure that all accounting transactions and operational activities comply with Vietnamese accounting and tax laws, the Group’s accounting policies and procedures, and IFRS.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and yearly accounting and finance reports to the Management Board, Tax Department, and other government authorities; upload financial results to the company’s management system.
  • Review and monitor payment processes for suppliers, employees, and tax obligations.
  • Review and monitor the issuance of VAT output invoices to customers.
  • Be in charge of reviewing and finalizing the year-end audit.
  • Monitor the Company’s financial status in Vietnam and work closely with the Group Treasury on liquidity and cash flow management. Plan and monitor the company’s cash position to ensure sufficient funds for daily operations.
  • Be responsible for the registration of overseas long-term loans with the State Bank of Vietnam.
  • Prepare the Annual Budget and Forecasts, and upload the data to the company’s management system.
  • Coordinate with banks, tax authorities, auditors, the State Bank of Vietnam, and other relevant parties on accounting and finance matters.
  • Ensure full compliance with all tax requirements (PIT, FCT, VAT, CIT) is delivered.
  • Develop and enhance the internal accounting system; propose and implement improvements to the Management Board.
  • Collaborate with the Management Board and other departments to develop and improve internal control policies, minimizing risks and ensuring business operations align with Group orientation.
  • Review sale/ supplier contracts.

      

Qualifications Working experience     

  • Years of experience in accounting, tax, or finance, and with a managerial or leadership role.
  • Qualified as chief accountant in Vietnam.
  • Experience with multinational companies or working in complex accounting and tax environments is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or tax qualification is a plus
  • Knowledge & skills
  • Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards .
  • Deep understanding of tax regulations, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting and tax software.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with senior management, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Fluency in English.
