The test tracks, test benches, and laboratories focus on areas such as automated driving, exhaust emissions and drive systems, passive safety, and, in the future, high-voltage battery testing—both in development testing and in the context of homologation and type testing.

 

 

Tasks

  • You will be responsible for acquiring new customers and looking after the existing customer base.
  • You will also prepare quotations and documentation for orders, contracts and customer agreements and summarise these.
  • Your tasks will also include participating in and accompanying customer events and conducting market observations.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing the achievement of sales targets and initiating corrective measures if necessary.
  • Using your expertise, you will develop sales strategies and plans based on the objectives of the Automotive Test Center and the respective specialist departments.
  • You will draw up activity and action plans to ensure that sales targets are met.
  • You will represent the company at trade fairs, congresses and specialist conferences.
  • Your responsibilities will also include providing content for marketing purposes.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, technical business administration, mechatronics or comparable qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with negotiating skills
  • Several years of professional experience in technical sales, ideally in the service sector for new propulsion systems and complete vehicles
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Independent, accurate and efficient way of working, as well as a high degree of initiative and resilience
  • Business fluent English skills
  • Willingness to travel is required (nationally/internationally)
  • Class B driving licence
