Role position:

We are currently looking for a Data Architect to strengthen our Data Engineering Team.

Requirements:

• Design and manage project data architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs and the company's technology strategy.
• Develop and maintain robust data models that ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability to support business and technical requirements.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive data governance policies and standards, ensuring the security, accuracy, and integrity of sensitive data. Implement multitenancy strategies to ensure secure data isolation and access control for each tenant.
• Design and optimize scalable, high-performance relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring they meet the functionality and performance requirements of the applications.
• Create, build, and enhance efficient data pipelines for the ingestion, processing, and storage of large-scale datasets.
• Ensure the data architecture can accommodate the increasing volume of user data, transactions, and records, optimizing storage efficiency and query speed.
• Assess and suggest new technologies for data management, storage, and analytics to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

Profile:

• Over 10 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management within the software industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, with a deep understanding of how database engines work, including memory management, logical/physical storage, and network/disk I/O.
• Extensive experience in relational/ non-relational data modeling, proficiency in using data modeling tools, and designing models for complex business applications.
• Significant experience with Azure-based data architectures, including cloud databases, storage solutions, and implementing security best practices within the Azure ecosystem.
• Expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure data services.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality best practices, and hands-on experience implementing data governance policies for sensitive financial and PII data.
• Ability to continually learn and assimilate new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate large volumes of complex information to senior management with varying levels of technical understanding.
• Capacity to collaborate in complex, cross-functional teams involving data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Aptitude for guiding solution design and architecture to meet business needs.
