Role position:

We are currently looking for a Senior AI Product Manager to strengthen our Data & AI Engineering and Innovation Team.

 

Summary:

This senior role is responsible for coordinating the delivery and evolution of a global enterprise AI product, serving as the primary point of alignment between business stakeholders, technical teams, management, and AI governance functions.

The position ensures that roadmap priorities are clearly defined, properly coordinated, and successfully delivered while balancing business expectations, technical realities, and governance requirements.

The role requires a strong technical background in Artificial Intelligence, experience managing complex product or development initiatives, and excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technical requirements, and governance expectations.
  • Translate business needs into clear product capabilities, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate delivery across the teams involved, tracking progress, dependencies, risks, and key decisions.
  • Act as the main link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and AI governance.
  • Ensure that product development is properly aligned with regulatory, risk, security, and data-related constraints relevant to the environment.
  • Prepare and maintain the documentation required for governance reviews, approvals, and auditability.
  • Lead product planning and prioritization sessions, supporting effective and timely decision-making.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Negotiate scope, priorities, and delivery expectations while promoting alignment and accountability.
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary development teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the coordination of the specialized support team, ensuring high service quality, effective stakeholder communication, and alignment between operational needs and product priorities.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related technical engineering field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex software products, platforms, or technology initiatives, including significant experience with Artificial Intelligence, Data, or Digital products in enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical background in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, or enterprise AI platforms.
  • Proven experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps and backlogs, and coordinating end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience leading or coordinating software or AI development teams.
  • Practical experience with AI governance, Responsible AI, risk management, or regulated technology environments.
  • Ability to understand technical architectures and discuss solutions effectively with engineering teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating with both engineering teams and governance functions.
  • Ability to explain complex technical and governance topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Professional proficiency in English, ideally C1 level or equivalent.
  • Professional proficiency in German is a plus and would support effective communication in international and multilingual environments.
