A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:

As an Account Manager in our Cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for TIC-related cybersecurity services across key markets in China. You will work closely with technical experts, marketing teams, and clients to develop tailored solutions in areas such as automotive cybersecurity, IoT cybersecurity, industrial cybersecurity, and related testing, inspection, and certification services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and achieve individual sales targets, with a focus on developing and expanding customer accounts in the assigned region.
  • Identify, develop, and follow up on sales leads and business opportunities in cybersecurity-related TIC services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in industries such as automotive, electronics, industrial, IoT, and other technology-driven sectors.
  • Develop a solid understanding of DEKRA’s technical service offerings in automotive cybersecurity, IoT cybersecurity, industrial cybersecurity, and related domains.
  • Understand customer needs and work closely with technical teams to design appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, tenders, bidding documents, contracts, and other commercial materials.
  • Manage sales activities, customer information, opportunities, and pipeline data systematically through Salesforce.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity updates and monthly sales performance reports, and actively participate in department meetings.
  • Coordinate with the technical team on project scoping, technical clarification, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Work with the marketing team to support market promotion activities, campaigns, events, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare and enter sales orders in accordance with internal processes.
  • Support other sales, business development, and marketing-related tasks assigned by the department.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Proven sales experience
  • Strong experience in solution-based sales, technical sales, or B2B consultative selling.
  • Ability to understand technical service offerings and translate customer needs into suitable business solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to manage multiple opportunities and customer accounts independently.
  • Good internal coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.

 

Nice to Have

  • Sales experience in TIC, E&E, Audit, industrial services, cybersecurity, automotive, IoT, or related fields.
  • Existing customer resources or business network in relevant industries.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity standards, compliance requirements, testing, inspection, or certification services.
  • Experience working in a multinational company or matrix organization.
