A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:

As an Engineer - Automotive Cybersecurity, you will work at the intersection of engineering, compliance, and customer solution delivery, supporting automotive OEMs and suppliers in implementing global safety and cybersecurity standards such as:

  • ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity Engineering)
  • ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
  • UN R155 / R156
  • GB 44495
  • AI system safety & security in automotive scenarios

You will act as a technical bridge between customer engineering teams and DEKRA testing & certification experts, supporting both pre-sales technical engagement and solution execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the development, expansion, implementation, and delivery of automotive safety services, covering cybersecurity, functional safety, and data protection.
  • Assist clients with full-lifecycle cybersecurity development, including TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment), cybersecurity concept design, solution design, and architecture design.
  • Execute product cybersecurity assessments and audits in accordance with ISO 21434 and other relevant audit specifications.
  • Prepare professional English audit reports and provide clear assessment conclusions.
  • Act as a technical bridge during the pre-sales phase and provide necessary technical support for the team's business development efforts.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients to deliver high-quality, professional services.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal quality and certification departments to ensure smooth project execution.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid working experience as a Middle-level engineer in automotive cybersecurity, functional safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF (ISO 21448), or AI safety (ISO/PAS 8800).
  • Deep understanding of relevant regulations and standards, including UN R155, ISO 21434, and GB 44495.
  • Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity attack and defense strategies, mainstream intelligent connected vehicle protection measures, and applied cryptography.
  • Hands-on security design experience covering V2X, in-vehicle systems, internal communication, and external communication.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills with a high sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Good English reading and writing skills.

 

Nice to Have

  • Professional qualifications and certifications such as CISP or CISSP.
  • Working experience related to ASPICE.
