Tasks

  • You design and implement automated tests across multiple levels (unit, integration, API, end‑to‑end) as an integral part of our software development process
  • You integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure that automated quality checks are executed prior to each release
  • You develop and maintain test automation solutions and test frameworks in close collaboration with development teams
  • You analyze failed tests or builds and support technical root‑cause analysis to identify and resolve defects
  • You ensure that new features are implemented in a testable and automation‑friendly manner
  • You define and maintain quality metrics and dashboards (e.g. Grafana or comparable tools) to provide transparency on system stability and software quality
  • You work closely with developers, DevOps, and Product Owners to embed quality early in the development lifecycle


Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Programming skills in at least one common language (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Experience with test automation and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with monitoring or observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
  • Experience in API testing (e.g. REST or gRPC)
  • Understanding of modern software architectures (e.g. microservices or API‑based systems)
  • Strong analytical skills for defect analysis and root‑cause identification
  • Good command of both German and English, written and spoken
