We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Technical Manager to lead our technical team and support the growth of cybersecurity services in Japan.

This is a technical leadership role that connects clients, sales, and engineering. You will translate complex cybersecurity and compliance requirements into practical solutions, lead project delivery, and represent DEKRA in customer and industry-facing discussions.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in TIC, compliance services, or a related technical field
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity and product-security regulations/standards such as CRA, RED-DA, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, EN 303 645, or EN 18031
• Strong ability to translate client requirements into clear technical solutions, project scopes, and proposals
• Confident external communication skills - able to engage customers, senior stakeholders, seminars, and industry organizations
• Japanese at native/near-native level (JLPT N1) and English at TOEIC 860+ or equivalent

Preferred

• Possession of project management or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, or CEH) is a distinct advantage.
• Experience in developing technical proposals, cost estimation, and managing project profitability (P&L awareness).
